Katie Crane Owner/Instructor
Katie Crane has worked as a Pilates Practitioner in Darwin since 2007. She relocated here after completing the vigorous certification program with Body Arts and Science Ianternational in Maroochydore, Queensland where she studied under the guidance of Joleen Watson.
As with many instructors, Kate's own Pilates practise was born from injury and the desire to heal her own body. With such positive results and an established career in the fitness industry she was encouraged to further her education and follow her passion for teaching.
Inspired every day by the potential her teachings have unveiled, Kate is a dedicated student to the Pilates method of exercise and she firmly believes in the principle that a human body possesses great potential.

Pilates is an exercise system for anyone regardless of their age or physical ability. Whether you are looking for a challenging workout or a remedial session, Encore Pilates can cater to you. For that very reason, class sizes are small and clients are pre assessed to determine an appropriate timetable.

What do I need to bring?
Encore Pilates is fully furnished with exquisite Pilates machines, smaller apparatus and accessories. We supply refrigerated water, towels and mats. Arrive a little early to relax, read a magazine and let go of the outside World, ready to immerse yourself in your Pilates workout.
Dress in comfortable clothing that is form fitting to allow for easier assessment of your movement. Leggings, bike shorts or long fitted gym pants and a fitted t-shirt or tank that allows for movement is suitable.
Please leave your shoes on the shoe rack when you arrive at the studio. If you have been in your shoes all day, a fresh pair of socks is a hygienic option to bare feet.
